This relatively late production 1968 L88 Corvette was built in May 1968 and was one of a pair of L88 Corvettes that were delivered to two brothers who both wanted to own their individual brand new L88 Corvette. This Silverstone Silver Metallic L88 Corvette is complete with its tank sheet, Protect-O-Plate, a letter from Chevrolet stating that the owner would be better off with a tripower 427, and a telegram from Chevrolet apologizing for the delay in building the cars, and a letter that verifies the order numbers, VINs, and build dates for this L88 Corvette and for the brother's L88 Corvette. This 1968 L88 Corvette is currently owned by Bill Kay.
