1969 Corvette L88 Closed Chamber

This early production 1969 L88 Corvette was sold new in December of 1968. Optioned with all the required L88 options, it also features the auxiliary bolt on hardtop, redline tires, and a heater (The heater delete was not required in 1968 or 1969) and a Fathom Green exterior with a green interior. The original owner drove this L88 Corvette from Michigan to Alaska and back covering over 6,000 miles on the trip with no problems. Back in Michigan, the car was sold to its second owner and was drag raced with 4.56:1 rear gears for several seasons. This L88 Corvette was finally taken off the drag strip and placed into storage in 1975. At that time, the L88 Corvette had only racked up about 20,000 miles. In the early 80's the car was sold to its current owner and in 1987, this L88 Corvette was restored. In 1988 it participated in the Bloomington Gold Earthquake 88 L88 special collection and has been maintained meticulously since.
